(a)	Analyze the purpose and functions of descriptive, narrative, poetic, expository and persuasive genres (see Appendices D-H).
(b)	Analyze how structural choices (e.g., spatial order in descriptive, cause-effect in expository) shape the clarity and emotional impact of each genre (see Appendices D-H).
(c)	Examine how language features such as imagery, rhetorical appeals, figurative language, sentence variety and diction serve different purposes within and across genres.
(d)	Examine how perceived neutrality in genres, such as expository or informational writing, may still reflect an author’s/creator’s bias, framing choices or selective evidence that influence audience interpretation.
(e)	Explain genre-specific strategies in mentor texts and how they connect to the message, theme or argument.
(f)	Analyze how genre language features engage audiences differently through mood, tone, voice and stylistic conventions (see Appendices D-H).
(g)	Explain how genre language features adapt to different formats (e.g., oral retellings, multimodal representations, digital compositions) while maintaining core genre characteristics.
(h)	Compare how similar thematic topics (e.g., injustice, joy, doubts) are explored through different genres and how genre-specific choices affect audience interpretation and impact.
(i)	Explain how genre expectations can be deliberately followed, blended or subverted to enhance impact or convey complex meaning.
