| (a) | Reflect on how one’s lived experiences, values or worldview influence decisions about form, tone, genre and audience in original compositions. |
| (b) | Explore how cultural background or social context can influence an author’s/creator’s choices in themes, perspectives or representations within texts. |
| (c) | Examine how texts by authors/creators with diverse backgrounds or lived experiences can expand or shift personal or collective viewpoints on social issues, cultural practices or historical events. |
